The campaigned was launched with a tree planting gimmick and plaque signing by Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Dato’ Sri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, accompanied by CEO of MRC Nor Hizwan bin Ahmad, and UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat.

A webinar entitled “Sustainable Recycling System for Eco-shopping: Community Awareness and Action” has been conducted on 20th October 2021 via online platform (Zoom). The duration of the webinar was 1.5 hours. The objectives of this webinar are (1) to impart awareness to community about their responsibility in handling packaging waste created after eco-shopping, and (2) to introduce a sustainable recycling system to public as an effective solution to handle packaging waste.
