Sustainabl Recycling System for Eco-shopping: Community Awareness and Action
A webinar entitled “Sustainable Recycling System for Eco-shopping: Community Awareness and Action” has been conducted on 20th October 2021 via online platform (Zoom). The duration of the webinar was 1.5 hours. The objectives of this webinar are (1) to impart awareness to community about their responsibility in handling packaging waste created after eco-shopping, and (2) to introduce a sustainable recycling system to public as an effective solution to handle packaging waste.
The speaker of this webinar was Mr Au Yong Tien Sing from iCYCLE Environmental Technology Limited (China), who has shared the possible practices in handling packaging waste generated from eco-shopping, as well as introduce a sustainable recycling system to handle the packaging waste effectively. His sharing was not limited to plastic waste management but also other types of solid waste. His sharing was insightful and helpful to contribute more effectively in protecting the environment.
There were a total of 94 audience who attended this webinar. The audience actively asked questions about the recycling issue at the end of the webinar. A better understanding towards recycling has resulted through the active interaction between the speaker and the audience.
